European Championships 2024

Notices for the 2024 European Hansa Class Championships will be posted on the official Notice Board located on the side of the Race Office and, whenever possible, also below on the website.

In Appendix 1 you find the final list of participants in the Class 303 single and their Seeding. This is to clarify Sail number changes and changes in names of

participants.

An urgent request to all participants in the 303 single class is to have the correct colored ribbon fitted as specified in the sailing instruction.

Changes to the Notice of Race

The Notice of Race is changed as following:

15 SCORING

1. 15.1  For boats that have raced in a qualifying and final series, a boats series score will be the totalof all scores in the qualifying and final series.
2. 15.2  Four (4) races are required to be completed to constitute a championship.
3. 15.3  When fewer than 5 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores.
4. 15.4  When 5 or more races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.

23 Prizes

23.1 Prizes will be awarded in the following divisions:

• Hansa 303 Single-Person Regional Champion 
• Hansa 303 Two-Person Regional Champions 
• Hansa Liberty Regional Champion
• Hansa Liberty Servo Regional Champion

23.2 Other prizes may be awarded at the discretion of the Organizing Authority.

Announcement 1.1

The following boats have been permitted to be hauled out of the water to enable the sailor to either get on board or to leave the boat.

1. 1  Class Liberty, Boat NED 2010, Sailor Vera Voorbach
2. 2  Class Liberty, Boat NED 1200, Sailor Hanneke Deenen
3. 3  Class Liberty, Boat NED 1159, Sailor Wilma van den Broek

To fulfill the Haul-out restrictions as specified in the NOR, article 19, the above-mentioned boats shall not be cleaned when ashore and will be hauled out of the water only for the short time needed for the sailor to get onboard or to leave the boat. For the remainder of the event the boat will stay in the water.
